As a finalist you are invited to the 4 final events which include:

  • 18 April Virtual Pitch Day Briefing
  • 25 April Virtual Pitch Day: pitching to the judges on Zoom
  • 29 April – 10 May Internship Interviews: interviewing with our internship partners for the grand prize internships
  • 21 May Awards Reception: showcasing your work, networking with industry, winners announcement and celebration

Virtual Pitch Day Briefing

  • Date & time: 18th April from 10:00-10:30am (you will receive a calendar invite)
  • Zoom joining link: see calendar invite

Virtual Pitch Day 

  • Date & time: 25th April from 9:30am – 1:00pm
  • Each finalist will have a 20-minute slot which will include:
    • 3 min pitch
    • 15 min Q&A
    • 2 min switch
  • Your slot time will be given to you at the Virtual Pitch Day Briefing Meeting
  • The pitch can be done however you like and can include slides, videos, or webcasting if you choose
    – For reference: 10 Finalists pitches from 2023 – Liana’s is a good pitch example commended by judges
  • Our events manager, Anita Onwuegbuzie, will share Zoom joining instructions for you to join at your designated time in a waiting room
  • You will pitch with camera on to the judges whom you can see on screen
  • Q&A: judges will type their questions in the chat & each will be read out loud by the moderator for you to answer
  • Please send your presentation file to Anita ahead of Virtual Pitch Day as back up for screen sharing on the day if any tech issues

Internship Interviews

  • Dates: Apr 29 – May 10th
  • Time: Interview times will be arranged directly with the interview partners and will be held virtually
  • Interviews will be done individually
  • 4 Internship Grand Prizes (5 Partners)
    – Arup
    – Soluis
    – StoryLab Anglia Ruskin University & ARCADE joint internship
    – Wales Millennium Centre & ARCADE joint internship

2024 Innovate UK Immersive Tech Awards Reception

  • Date & time: 21st May from 5:30-8:30pm (public reception)
  • Private Showcase from 4:15-5:30pm for awards judges and partners
  • Location: Imagination HQ in central London
  • Drinks & light bites will be provided
  • Each finalist will have an area to demo their work
  • We are asking all finalists to bring their own demo kit (please reach out if this will be an issue)
  • Demo showcase set up between 10:00-3:30pm. Please plan to be in London for the full day
  • Please register via the Finalist registration link for yourself/ your team & 1 person you may invite to help with your individual showcase (please let our team know who that is)
