From lightweight multiplayer experiences to epic adventures and AAA titles, the Meta Horizon platform is home to a vast library of games, apps, and worlds to explore. For over a decade, we’ve invested in the XR ecosystem, helping developers of all stripes and sizes find success on our platform. The launch of Meta Quest 3S in 2024 marked a year of momentum, growth, and evolution on the platform that will be foundational to its future, with a broader range of people buying Quest and exploring the platform for the first time. And while premium games remain vital, entertainment, social, free-to-play, and mobile content are increasingly appealing to a new cohort of younger audiences.
By investing in mobile content, we can reach a lot of new people who don’t yet own a Quest headset and ultimately grow the pie for everyone. That’s why, as part of our $50 million Creator Fund for creators of mobile and MR worlds, we’re also announcing our first creator competition of the year with a focus on mobile.
