The Techstart Proof of Concept Grant Fund is a pre-commercial grant awarding fund. On a competitive basis, the fund supports entrepreneurs in Northern Ireland with grants to explore the viability and commercial potential of an innovative concept.
The grant funding comes in the form of a “Concept” grant (of up to £15k) and a “Concept Plus” Grant (of up to £40k). These grants will be available throughout the year, to applicants across Northern Ireland. Projects can be up to 100% funded.
The PoC Fund supports both tech & non-tech ideas with no sectoral bias. Eligible concepts must be novel and innovative. Applicants can apply as a Sole Trader, Partnership or Limited Company.
All closing dates are advertised on the Techstart Grants website (www.techstartgrants.com). The next closing date for the Concept Plus grant is 26 August 2025.
