£16M Audience of the Future: Demonstrators Programme
The objective of this competition is to explore future global, mass market, commercial opportunities in immersive experiences and technologies through supporting a limited number of large and ambitious pre-commercial collaborations. Each demonstrator will create a novel audience proposition that must reach an audience of more than 100,000 members of the public. Find out more
£1M Audience of the Future: Design Foundations Competition
Audience of the Future: Design Foundations is an early stage design competition focused on understanding the future consumer, delivering a vital insight into audience perceptions, motivations and behaviours. This competition will help to de-risk and boost public RoI in subsequent R&D investment and help high-potential organisations (with the capability to innovate) to answer critical early-stage questions, and to build the foundations for successful innovation R&D activity. Innovation Loans: April 2018 Open Competition
Innovate UK is offering up to £10m in loans for game-changing innovations with strong commercial potential that will significantly improve the UK economy. Loans are for highly innovate late stage projects with a clear route to commercialisation. Closes 6 June
Innovate UK Open Call
This competition is open to the best cutting-edge or disruptive ideas or concepts with a view to commercialisation. Priority will be given to proposals that are likely to lead to sustainable gains in productivity or access to new overseas markets through export-led business growth. Closes 11 July
Robotics and AI: inspect, maintain and repair in extreme environments
Individuals can apply to join a five day collaborative workshop in September to develop project proposals to use robotic and AI systems to service infrastructures in challenging environments. Projects will be funded by the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund. Closes 11 July
The UK Research and Innovation Future Leaders Fellowship
The UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships will grow the strong supply of talented individuals needed to ensure that UK research and innovation continues to be world class. This scheme will support early career researchers and innovators with outstanding potential in universities, UK registered businesses, and other research and user environments, including research councils’ institutes and laboratories. Submit an expression of interest by 7 June
£1.25m CITB Immersive Learning Fund
Could you develop a pilot which would enable learners in the construction industry to become immersed in an interactive learning environment? The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) has opened a second call for applications to help solve skills challenges. Closes 23rd July

European Funding: Horizon 2020 ICT 25 Interactive Technologies
Better exploiting opportunities offered by multi-user interactions, research and developing technologies augmenting human interaction in groups within a professional and private context.
