Open Grant Funding competition: round 3
Up to £20m funding available to deliver game changing or disruptive innovations with significant potential for impact on the UK economy. Register by 14 November
Innovation Loans: September 2018 open competition
Innovate UK’s £50m pilot of Innovation Loans to fund later stage R&D with a strong commercial route to market culminates with a £10m open competition for SMEs and micro-businesses. Briefing events are also running throughout October. Register by 14 November – check out the webcast
RIA Research and Innovation Action
As immersive technologies are transforming the ways in which people communicate, interact and share information, this will have a direct impact on industries across the European Union. Closes 14 November
SBRI: Tourism AR Challenge
Organisations can apply for a share of £200,000 to develop tourism-focused innovations using Augmented Reality. Tourism NI, working in conjunction with partners Digital Catapult NI and the Department for the Economy, are looking for innovative AR solutions to contribute to visitor journeys in Northern Ireland. Closes 19 November
UK Aerospace Research and Technology Programme: fast track collaborative R&D expression of interest
UK organisations can apply for a share £1.25m for an instantly deployable solution for real time tracking of firefighters at incidents. Closes 21 November

John Lewis and Partners are looking for seek innovative ideas to deliver more inspirational and immersive in store shopping experience. Closes 25 November
Institute of Coding: Future Projects Fund
The Institute of Coding is inviting submissions to its £2.3m Future Projects Fund, to enhance higher-level digital skills provision and inclusivity. Closes 25 November
UK Aerospace Research and Technology Programme: fast track collaborative R&D expression of interest
UK organisations can apply for a share of up to £8m to carry out collaborative R&D, collaborative fast-track and feasibility projects that enhance the UK’s position in civil aerospace. Closes 5 December
LOROS 360 Film competition
LOROS are holding a VR for Good 360 film competition with prizes of up to £6,000. Help them to transform the lives of people living with a terminal illness or limited mobility by using VR to create mesmerising 360 experiences. Closes 23 November
Regional Angel investment accelerator pilot: finding group partners
Angel groups can apply to partner with Innovate UK to distribute grant funding alongside their investment. Opens 29 October
ESA Virtual and Augmented Reality Kick-Start
Up to €60k funding per activity for companies to exploit one or more space assets, including satellite communications, satellite navigation, earth observation, human space flight technology. Closes 25 February
European Funding: Horizon 2020 ICT 25 Interactive Technologies
Better exploiting opportunities offered by multi-user interactions, research and developing technologies augmenting human interaction in groups within a professional and private context.
