Panelist biographies
Kevin Williams – Founder, KWP Limited
Kevin Williams has an extensive background in the development and sales of the latest amusement and attraction applications and immersive technologies. The UK born specialist in the pay-to-play scene; is well-known through his consultancy KWP; and as a prolific writer and presenter (along with his own news service The Stinger Report), covering the emergence of the new entertainment market. Kevin has co-authored a book covering the sector called ‘The Out-of-Home Interactive Entertainment Frontier’ (published by Routledge), feverishly working on the sequel coming out this year. And is the founding chairman of DNA Association & Conference, focuses on the digital Out-of Home interactive entertainment sector.
Joanna Popper
Joanna Popper is a Hollywood and Silicon Valley media executive. She is HP’s Global Head of Virtual Reality for Location Based Entertainment and leads Go-To-Market initiatives for XR. Prior she was EVP of Media & Marketing at Singularity University and VP Marketing at NBCUniversal. Joanna developed a TV show partnership with NBC and Singularity University for a new TV series on technology and innovation. Joanna was selected as “50 Women Can Change the World in Media and Entertainment,” “Top Women in Media: Game Changers,” “Top Women in Media: Industry Leaders,” “Digital It List,” “25 Most Influential Women to Follow in VR,” 101 Women Leading the VR Industry” and is on the Coalition for the Women in XR Fund.
Simon Reveley – Founder, Figment Productions
In 2009 Simon founded Figment Productions where he has delivered large scale film, audio-visual and digital projects for Volvo, Virgin Media, Coca-Cola (inc. Olympics projects), and hundreds of film, AV and interactive installations for world famous attractions such as Wimbledon Tennis Museum (UK), Chelsea FC Museum (UK), Volvo Ocean Race Museum (Spain), The Springbok Experience (South Africa), and 100+ projects for Merlin Entertainments in collaboration with Merlin Magic Making at Sea Life Centres and LEGOLAND Discovery Centres around the world.
Leif Petersen – Founder & CEO, HOLOGATE
Leif is a visionary entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience in all facets of immersive media. As founder and CEO of HOLOGATE, he is leading the expansion of their market leading virtual reality platforms for entertainment and enterprise.
