The Centre for the Analysis of Motion, Entertainment Research and Applications (CAMERA) has been funded by the EPSRC, AHRC and the University of Bath. It exists to accelerate the impact of fundamental research being undertaken at the University in the Departments of Computer Science and Health.
CAMERA has recently secured funding from the European Structural Investment Funds (ESIF) for a second studio space, enabling us to provide access to state-of-the-art digital innovation facilities, including a high-end motion capture array and an instrumented treadmill for high end gait analysis.
CAMERA has several principal research themes which help direct our work. Each theme is related to applications of digitally capturing the real world: analysing, understanding and modelling content and creating tools to allow better use of the technologies which enable this.
