Gen_1 is an interactive immersive experience.

Utilising procedural generation techniques it creates unique organic patterns using motion data gathered from the user.

Gen_1 was installed at the Canwood Gallery, exhibited alongside works by Carl Andre and Damien Hirst, with users generating over 2000 unique designs over a 3 day stint.

Hand tracking data is gathered from a leap motion controller on Linux VMs, output over network via OSC to Touchdesigner for visuals and Max MSP for audio.
