As a real estate pioneer, Cushman & Wakefield aims to put its clients and people at the centre of what’s next in the sector. And, by drawing on its expertise, clients can benefit from the deepest insights in the market.

Working on behalf of Beacon Capital, the firm wanted to create a new stand-out sales and marketing suite for Washington DC’s 2445M. The property was being radically transformed, and Cushman & Wakefield believed Igloo technology would be the best way to engage and enthuse potential tenants.

But it wasn’t going to be a conventional installation.

The only available space was a broom cupboard (literally). A high-end Shared VR system had to be squeezed inside. And, when the property is fully let, the firm wanted the flexibility to redeploy the Igloo for future assignments.

So, we adapted a standard Igloo 5-metre cylinder, creating an open-fronted 300° space, fitted with the latest ultra-short throw Epson projectors. We crafted a drop-ceiling to conceal the projectors, with only the periscope lenses exposed. And we added a custom touchscreen kiosk to control and interact with the video and Unreal content (created with real panache by the team at Chicago-based Core12).
