Sublime recently delivered a stand-out immersive event pavillion for the The Red Sea Development Company at the 2019 iteration of Saudi Arabia’s Future Investment Initiative.
The experiential concept utilised virtual reality and interactivity to ‘transport’ the high-profile delgates and VIP’s from the event venue to the Red Sea development area – a region of outstanding natural beauty and heritage, and where TRSDC will deliver luxury tourism and wellness destination that will form one of KSA’s Vision 2030 ‘Gigaprojects.’
Sublime had to consider how to generate an exciting, highly informative, and transportational experience on a relatively small footprint – adapting the standard booth design to form an immersive cube shape in which visitors would be removed from the event floor and external distractions. Their tour of the development area was delivered via four specially created pieces of video content, utlising a projection mapped floor and curved 3.5m high ‘horizon’ wall.
